How does it work?

top
Advertisers create campaigns on uVizz for their products and services. They want people to create fun an interesting videos about those products and share them with friends on social networks, blogs, websites, through email, and instant messaging. When a video is viewed for the first time by a uVizz user, the video creator and the person who shared it get paid.

How much can I make?

top
Advertisers pay for unique video views on uVizz. A unique video view is the first time someone watches a video. We're able to know if a user has watched a video before because they access uVizz by connecting with a social network profile (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Bebo or Friendster). By doing so, we're able to reward them for creating and sharing videos.

The advertiser specifies how much they are willing to pay for a unique video view (you'll see how much they are paying on their campaign page). While the minimum amount they can pay is 15¢, most pay more than that. 70% of what they pay is given to the users for creating and sharing the videos.

Here's an example:

You create a video for a campaign that is paying 50¢ for every unique video view. When a unique video view occurs, here's how the money is distributed:

As the video creator, you always earn 50% of the advertiser payout. In this example, you earn 25¢

The person who shared the video gets 20% of the advertiser payout. 20% of 50¢ equals 10¢.

The fee paid to uVizz is 15¢. uVizz gets 30% of the advertiser payout.

Let's say that your video ends up receiving 2,000 unique video views during the campaign. 2000 x 25¢ = $500.00

You can also get paid for sharing your video with friends. If your friends watch the video and their views are unique, you get an extra 20% of the advertiser payout!

You can also post your video on your blog or website with our video player. When unique video views occur inside the video player, you receive 70% of the advertiser payout (you're the video creator and the person who shared it). It's a powerful way to share videos and make money!

Withdrawing Money

top
When you've earned $20 on uVizz from creating and sharing videos, you can withdraw it via PayPal. If you create videos that people enjoy, you can earn that much in an hour.

Video Cameras The great thing about uVizz is that anyone can make videos, regardless of skill level. Advertisers care more about content than special effects and editing. You can use a mobile phone, iPhone, Flip video camera or anything else to make the videos. These are web videos -- just have fun and create something that you think people will want to watch and share with friends. If you're an expert video maker, that's great, but you don't have to be to do well on uVizz.

Who approves the videos? You'll submit your video to the campaign for approval. It's up to each advertiser to set their approval guidelines. Be sure to read their video objectives before you start filming. Most advertisers will approve videos within 24 to 48 hours of submission.

Can I invite my friends to help?

Absolutely. uVizz allows you to invite your friends to help you create the video. You also get to assign them a revenue percentage. When a video earns money, everyone gets paid individually by uVizz. This is a really great way for you and your friends to have fun and make money!

Who owns the content?

You own the content. We protect you by holding the distribution rights. This keeps the advertiser from being able to use your content outside of uVizz without compensating you for it. If the advertiser wants to use your content outside of uVizz, the two of you can negotiate a price. If you're happy with the price, so are we....and we'll release the distribution rights. For providing the platform, uVizz receives 30% of the negotiated price.
